Billerica, MA Interior Remodel

Before

Another “typical” split level home that makes you question what typical even means. This one just isn’t typical anymore, and here’s why: The 1980’s bathroom with dated pink subway tile revitalized to include voluminous oversized marble tile. A kitchen previously functioning like the hidden butler’s pantry is transformed into a large open space by removing the bearing wall and adding a gracious island. Best of all, the great room addition follows suit to its name. Still having a relatively simple concept, substantial changes made this remodel a jaw dropping evolution into the new world of split level homes.

Contrasting light and dark colors in the kitchen, the gleam of the glass tiles, and the glow of the sunlight through the massive window gives the eyes so much to absorb. Oversized island with seating and a generous flow of space certainly created a different kind of function and provides a family entertaining space unlike anything their home offered before.
